SSAFA will sign-post supporters and beneficiaries who call on them for assistance when writing or amending their Will to The Goodwill Partnership.
The charity has been providing support to the UK’s servicemen and women, veterans, reservists and their families for over 130 years and helps some 60,000 members of the Armed Forces community every year.
Today nearly 2.6 million people living in the United Kingdom are estimated to have served in our Armed Forces at some point in their lives. With the help of supporters, SSAFA will be there for those who will need their help. SSAFA believes that those who have served our nation should get the best possible support when they need it.
Tegan Jones, Director of Fundraising at SSAFA says: “We are delighted to be working with The Goodwill Partnership to offer our supporters and beneficiaries an uncomplicated and smooth Will writing service. Those who use this service are not obliged to include a charitable bequest but we hope that wherever possible, supporters will remember the vital support SSAFA provides serving personnel, veterans and their families.”
“A gift in a Will, no matter how small, would help us to provide the practical, emotional and financial support that vulnerable members of the Armed Forces community rely on.”
Mark Jackson, Co-Founder of The Goodwill Partnership says: “SSAFA is an incredible charity and we are delighted to team up with them and hope that our service provides to be another invaluable source of income for their vital services.”
