Armed Forces Week

Armed Forces Week

Armed Forces Week

The official Armed Forces Day event takes place this year in Liverpool, on Saturday 24th June. This day is a chance for the country to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community.

The week leading up to Armed Forces Day (week commencing Monday 19th June) is an ideal opportunity for companies to underline commitments to their Armed Forces Corporate Covenant pledges, of which recognising Armed Forces Day is an obvious and very relevant part. For companies which haven’t, it’s still an excellent way to show your support for the Armed Forces community.

With our summer Big Brew Up campaign already planned for that week, we are encouraging our corporate supporters to not just stick the kettle on, but organise their own events and activities to support SSAFA’s ‘Armed Forces Week’.

It’s also a better time than most to sign up to a challenge event, or register for one of our special events, in support of SSAFA.

Our wider message to our corporate supporters is simple – we need your help to raise awareness of SSAFA and our important work, so we can continue to support the wider Armed Forces community.

Don’t forget to share your Big Brew Up and fundraising events on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #ArmedForcesWeek
